Captain Rich currently holds a USCG Masters license and is a full time captain and owner of Premier Yacht Services. Rich has been a private yacht captain for 7 years and has experience as a tugboat captain. With over 17 years experience (10 professionally) on the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, ICW, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Mississippi River and all Great Lakes on both power and sail boats ranging from 25 to 215 feet, Rich and his crew have the knowledge and experience to safely and efficiently deliver any vessel of any size to any destination.
With all of his experience Rich also offers a very popular in depth training program to multiple prominent boatclubs and their members as well as private boat owners of all skill levels, From on the water training in docking, night time navigation and general boating to classroom lessons in charting and navigation, CT / NY boating licenses, and electronics. Rich has been training boaters for over 10 years and averages over 300 on water lessons nation wide per year.

We can have boaters of any experience level confident and competent in their boating abilities. From docking to night time navigation we can teach it. We offer on the water training as well as classroom paper chart navigation and CT or NY boating license classes. We provide our training program to multiple boatclubs and private individuals nation wide.

Premier Yacht Services is now offering CT safe boating certificates. This license is required by law for all Connecticut boaters. Classes are both public or private and can be completed in just 1 day. Prices start at just $89. per person

We now offer land transport via trucking. We have the ability to transport most vessels over the road. We will acquire permits for oversized vessels and have the ability to recommend land VS water transportation for all types of vessels.
